Jack thanks for posting this.
Mike - I enjoyed your article. Eastern orientations rarely if ever come into the discussion from the bubble of western msn, 'experts', pundits and as well from alt news sites. The west seems to operate with an incomplete vision.
Bon shamanism, Tantra, and mandalas are very interesting consciousness research traditions. I think the gender identity confused would gain much if the tantra system of energy with its take on masculine and feminine distinctions would come into play in western education - just the very basics would probably be helpful let alone the sexual processes. Single cultivation brings out both.
The Ligmincha international in VA. teaches Bon.
I'm more familiar with Indian Yoga systems which talks about Tantra, Yantra, and Mantra in relation to this article. It seem in regards to mandala - as I see it, - which can seem like a specific target that leads toward its center, going deeper within each layer toward the center point. The physical world is so big around us until that inner center pt is reached somehow and then if conditions are right a paradigm shift might happen and the physical world is the insignificant point and awareness can expand more and more in wave frequencies into different states and 'places'..
A bunch of years ago a group of Tibetan monks that came through our town and constructed a Yamataka mandala sand painting - Yama, Lord of death - also a intro workshop was given by a Lama about this mandala and the Medicine Buddha Mandala. He said that one has to ask permission from the Buddha to enter this mandala. Not for tourist.
I like Tibetan knowledge systems as much as I can understand them. Seems pretty complicated to me. Seems more like a monks path rather then a householders system.
Thanks again for posting Mike and Jack. Nice change of pace.

Western tradition is almost entirely abrahamic, and due to the aggressive and jealous nature of abrahamism, literally everything is permeated with this bias. Choose anything... math, history, psychology, its all soaked in an abrahamic world view.
Tibet is in essence still a shamanic culture, and so their use of mandalas, for example are going to feature intelligences, disciplines, and rituals that are specific to the initiations required to handle the forces evoked by it. The complexity is in part due to the nature of lineage and transmission of knowledge. Perhaps the useful word here is decentralized.
The average people in Tibet pursue their lives with various intersections to this great spiritual tradition, but only some actually pursue spiritual study because it is so rigorous.
However, study and application are widely available.
Yamantaka is linked directly to Tantra, and Tantra has a comfortable home in great wheel Buddhism. There is this ancient, ancient tradition that goes back for so many lineages that no one knows for certain, and it has to do with immortality. Interesting that you would mention this.
I can't offer any kind of reform for abrahamism. I can only say that abrahamism is a spiritual disease that warps the person, and the quickest and surest way back to health is to free oneself from it.
Thanks for the comment. Glad you enjoyed the article.
Mike, great work! The abrahamics in today's world are void of Spirit as simply look around? With Judaism the foundation followed by Christianity then Islam. Islam being the worst and perhaps the animation of the dead corpses of the West including Russia? Then we have modern Jews at war with Islam using the Christian vermin as the weapon. All three total human vermin I see here and I really don't care who wins.
VT? They want money? After pushing those jabs? The jab is the very pinnacle of Abrahamic thinking, talk about a mind virus.
I don't think anyone would have any issue with the big three; Judaism, Christianity, Islam if they weren't so obviously involved with everything thats wrong in this modern world.
