The arguing got so fierce that at one point Keith threw a knife he was carrying at Jones. Frank Thorogood, who was doing maintenance at Brian's estate came between them and calmed things down. Mick & Keith then left. Ironic, because many think that Frank Thorogood was Brian's murderer. That night Brian, his girlfriend Anita Pallenberg, and another guy were swimming in his backyard pool. Anita and the guy left the pool and went into the house. When they came back out approx. 20 minutes later, Brian was dead at the bottom of the pool. Charley Watts & Bill Wyman attended Brian's funeral but Mick & Keith were conspicuous by their absence. Mike refused saying the very notion was ludicrous. Some celebrity deaths are faked as is so much in this realm. For example I think it is likely Jim Morrison's alleged death was. However, many are not. The System has the masses programmed to regard every celebrity death being the result of drug and alcohol overdoses. In many cases that is a contributory if not the main factor. But when you look at the incredibly high mortality rate of celebrities, with so many perishing at a relatively young age under suspicious circumstances with violence involved, the Pavlovian drugs and alcohol explanation/response is spurious. Close scrutiny on a case by case basis will reveal definitive foul play involved.

Simulated Reality is not new. Each living being from bacteria to humans creates and approximation of reality. A simulation if you will. To the degree these life forms survive, their simulated reality is viable. For humans it gets a bit more complicated. We share to an extent a basic reality. Some though experience a reality that others cannot verify. Religious systems and now scientific models purport to define what it is we see and experience. If your reality falls outside of that you are are considered mad, a danger to society, or a harmless lunatic. Medications await those who are unable to participate in society without disturbing consensus reality.
Do we make new realities? Certainly with the current abundance of energy we have created our version of reality. However that energy supply is on the down hill run. As it dissipates so called glitches in the matrix will become more common.
The ultimate nature of humanities overlay of technological imposition on nature will appear as cheap energy disappears. Subjugation of the Earth will fall away revealing the toxic devastation of our collective technological simulation imposed atop of nature. It will leave those immersed in the techno reality adrift and most likely deranged. Earth as Gaia (James Lovelock and Lynn Margulis) will have the final say on our contrived reality.
Most people live inside their cell phones and have reality defined for them by the experience. So for a time the idea of a Philip K. Dick simulation seem valid to them. Grim reality awaits such naivety.
