I don't mean this to come across the wrong way, but sitting across the pond I (like many of my fellow countrymen), have often alternated between hysterical laughter and utter dismay at the whole American Patriotism charade.

All that cheering, clapping, and black slapping, whilst (just like here in the UK) your so-called leaders are completely detached from the general publics view of America.
They have very different views and goals than the common man does.
But this piece has got me wondering, and I hate to turn everything into another conspiracy theory, but in reference to the latest conversations from the porch, maybe the turkey/Syria earthquake was that weekend event?
Maybe it's a trojan horse?
A means to progress an agenda that had faltered, a means of getting nefarious assets back into Syria (and a vulnerable underbelly of russia), ala the blue helmets?

We're driven to insanity by proximity of the unfortunate insane who are not yet aware of their insanity, yet if we make them aware it has the potential to drive them deeper into an already insane state. It's a simulated reality likely built by those who cannot accept what has already happened not yet aware of the dark swirling tornado clouds all around them drowning in the abyss many hold on by forming a manufactured, yet for all intents and purposes solid reality to dwell in while the storm passes.
Unfortunately the storm is invading their reality whether they like it or not and perhaps why I was told many moons ago trying to save it all was a doomed task and yet human nature cannot escape its own attempts to rebel even if its already happened or inevitable. Idle hands are the devils work and we have to do something to make sense of our existence especially these days so we hold onto the lie. It's scary when you separate yourself from this reality, truly it is, but there is a beyond despite the unmistakable feeling of nothingness wanting to pull you back into the group prayer that is this reality. If I lay low and close my eyes and repeat mantra's it'll all be ok and the storm will pass. Few are brave enough to stand and open their eyes to the horror, but it's they who'll reap the ultimate reward.
I fell into the lie many times so my heart goes out to those who still need it. I had childhood memories fighting in space like all these other "experiencers" until I got bored with that much like I'm bored with this reality coming to the same dead end of searching for a purpose. Strange how their experiences all share my own non-disclosed dreams more real than real long before my mind was polluted with books, audio, and video. If we're truly individuals how do we share the same experience with similar commonalities? Evolution is a lie. We're not evolving into something greater. Something greater existed within us already. Are these tales not yet a modern mythos of an ancient story and is that why so many fall in love with this genre? My mind must've lived what they're experiencing and in that sense it was real. After accepting I was living a fantasy lie in my own head I saw the connections to the history I was physically living. An ancient story as modern as can be with recent historical connotations regarding what I already knew to be true as a teenager regarding WW2. Plain as day I saw in the 90's the will to erase the Germans from history and swearing to write them into the future and in that sense it was a success with breakaway Germans now dominate in all space related topics.

The God Emperor is clearly the United States and of course Horus becomes the bad guy. The God of Man wants to dominate and subjugate the galaxy with science while becoming the most zealot religious empire known to the existing galaxy. He punishes those who worship him the most as being the liberator of humanity for falling into religiosity over scientism by destroying their worlds.
