I have a cousin that was buried with full military honors and no one showed up to his funeral. We had no idea he passed. As a matter of fact, I never met him. He died alone, a proud marine that suffered from alcoholism that took his life young. He served in the Persian Gulf war as an airplane refueler. His Dad, my Uncle, was a Medevac that did two tours in Vietnam—also died a lonely man. I think you forget Nine that alot of these men are altruistic in their pride of serving their country—they do not know some of the goings on that most on Jack’s site know about how the world works. That said, these were good men. Not scum of the earth as you say….
