I had my blood work done today and asked my doctor to check for the bacteria. He'd never heard of it, but looked it up and confirmed the resistance to antibiotics. He said that it would not normally show up in the lab with my screening. Any one know how to trace it?

Well, Orage... see the below for information. The tracing of such bacteria is not part of standard testing, but is possible if you know the right questions to ask.
